Synopsis of “Amy”: A poignant drama of a young girl, traumatised by the tragic death of her father (Nick Barker), who retreats into a world of silence. Ultimately through the efforts of her dedicated mother (Rachel Griffiths) and a young drop-out musician (Ben Mendelsohn) who lives next door, Amy (Alana De Roma) breaks out of her self-imposed isolation by communicating through music – and transforming the lives of everyone around her.

DONATE TO OUR BUILDING FUND

The Tarwin Lower Hall was built in 1890 and is situated on crown land currently managed by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning ( DELWP) and a small group of local volunteers. As we have no funding for maintenance, the hall desperately need funds to replace external weatherboards and repaint the exterior which may cost between $50,000 - $100,000.
